SHIFT CNC
Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work overnight hours in a fast-paced environment where precision, safety, and efficiency are paramount. As a key player in our production process, you will operate and monitor CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to strict safety standards. Your expertise will help drive our manufacturing excellence and contribute to delivering top-tier products to our customers. Duties Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers, following detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Program and set up CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming and Fanuc controls to produce precise components. Interpret engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify part quality. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime, including CNC machine adjustments and mechanical repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards in production and proper materials handling procedures. Assist with tooling changes, machine calibration, and routine maintenance to optimize machine performance. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and Fanuc controls is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications accurately. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of shop math, fabrication processes, tooling setups, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, shop math skills, GD&T standards, and quality control procedures. Experience with factory safety standards in production environments and industrial troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills for operating shop software or SolidWorks for design review when necessary. Valid forklift certification or experience with materials handling is a plus but not mandatory.
