CNC Laser Operator

CNC Laser Operator and Set-Up Spring Valley, IL $16.50 to $18.00 an hour M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm - no weekends! Potential for Long term hire Express Employment has teamed up with a growing manufacturer in Spring Valley, IL who is looking to add reliable packers to their team. This role involves checking products for defects, loading and unloading pallets (50+lbs), and requires weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operates and sets up laser machines and stamping presses, including start-up/shut-down, coil loading, securing equipment, and performing efficient cutting or stamping per specifications. Uses overhead cranes, forklifts, hand tools, and measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Performs visual and dimensional inspections, monitors gas levels, checks product quality, and stops production if parts fail to meet standards. Reads prints, applies shop mathematics, navigates Windows-based systems, and follows detailed work instructions and company policies. Moves materials-including coils, bins, racks, and containers-to and from machines using proper equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

3+ years in Manufacturing 2+ years
