Description:
Swiss CNC Machine Operator Join our team as a Swiss CNC Machine Operator in a full-time, permanent, hourly role at our Illinois location. •
DAY SHIFT
6 :00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (4 days per week)
PAY:
$22.00-$32.00 per hour
BONUS:
$1,000 Sign-on Bonus

Responsibilities:
Responsible for production and operation of multiple CNC machines in team-based environment. Responsible for general/daily maintenance on machines to keep up with production. Responsible for ensuring quality of parts through regular inspection during production. Follow all safety guidelines as stated by company. Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (will train) Inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), as well as programmed CMM equipment (will train). Make offsets & change tooling per provided layout (will train). Communicate with fellow team members, and management, of job status and party quality.
Requirements:
2+ years of related CNC Machine Operating experience. Strong, applied math skills: arithmetic, fractions/decimals, unit conversions, geometry, algebra, and statistics. Ability to inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), as well as programmed CMM equipment. Successfully Complete Operation Basics Training, which includes: measuring small parts, reading and interpreting blueprints, repeatability in following documented processes and instructions. Ability to read blueprints. Cooperative, team-focused attitude. Physical ability to lift 25 pounds regularly throughout shift. Physical ability to stand, bend, and walk for entire shift. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
