Position Overview We are seeking a CNC Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for hands-on machining operations, producing high-quality components while meeting production, quality, safety, and efficiency standards. We are willing to train, but would prefer at least some machine shop or manufacturing experience. Our hiring process will consist of an in-person interview, references will be checked, and a background check will be conducted.
Key Responsibilities CNC Machining & Technical Duties:
Set up and operate Haas CNC mills to produce firearm components to precise specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product quality. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain tight tolerances. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC equipment.
Quality & Process Improvement:
Monitor and maintain quality control throughout production runs. Ensure shop cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a CNC Operator (preferred). Ability to understand geometric dimensioning and tolerances. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines. Knowledge of firearm components and manufacturing processes is a plus. Ability to pass a background check in compliance with ATF regulations. We can not hire anyone who has been convicted of a felony.
Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
