ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of auxiliary equipment for the plastics processing industry and other industrial markets. ACS Group maintains a complete product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, process cooling and temperature control equipment, drying systems, and hydraulic presses. These products are marketed under leading brand names like AEC, Sterling, Cumberland, Wabash and Carver. US manufacturing facilities are located in New Berlin, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana with a third facility located Suzhou, Jiangsu, China that is feeder plant to New Berlin and serves the China market.
Responsibilities:
Incumbent will setup, adjust, program and operate CNC Machine to drill. Included are reaming, tapping, counter boring on a variety of products and parts. Candidate must be able to review drawings, blueprints or job instructions to determine requirements. This includes locating, positioning and securing work piece in holding fixture or device. It involves inserting proper tooling, setting stops, feeds, speeds and engaging controls. Adjust machine as necessary to maintain tolerance requirements and change tools as necessary. Shift and hours subject to change during peak months (must be flexible) Other duties and responsibilities assigned. This position requires ability to work from drawings, blueprints and job instructions. Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, etc. Applicant needs six months experience to attain quality and production requirements. Candidate may possess equivalent schooling or equivalent education/work-related experience. Job seeker must have the ability to read blue prints, drawings and good mechanical skills and must have ability to convert blueprints to program logic.
