CNC Machine Operator —

Entry Level Job Summary:

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to work instructions, blueprints, and established quality standards. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions. Inspect parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Monitor machines during production and report issues to a supervisor. Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance as trained. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Meet production and quality requirements. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or CNC experience is helpful but not required. Ability to read basic measurements and follow written instructions. Basic math skills. Strong attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.

Training:

No prior CNC experience is necessarily required. The successful candidate will receive training on machine operation, quality inspection, tooling, safety procedures, and production processes.
