Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC setup to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in setting up CNC machinery for part production. This role is critical in ensuring the precision and quality of our products, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other related equipment. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to produce high-quality parts. Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Maintain equipment by performing regular checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper maintenance. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication, and materials handling. Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials in the manufacturing facility. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on machining processes. Familiarity with the following skills is preferred: Fanuc programming and operation of programmable logic controllers . Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and tooling for assembly tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
