Job Description
Job purpose This position will work with the line operator in the daily operation of the CNC equipment. He/she will also inspect and pack brake rotors and maintain the end of line equipment. Duties and responsibilities
- Inspect and pack brake rotors per control plan.
- Complete end of line paint check and document per control plan. Maintain paint level.
- Maintain wash and burnish water level and concentration. Empty oil catch pan at burnish.
- Use gauges to perform checks on parts.
- Communicate and assist line operator with line issues.
Example:
Depalletizer cycle time over or quality issues on the line.- Assist operator to hand load line if necessary.
- Complete all necessary end of line checks and proper documentation of those checks.
- Keep offload area clean and neat. Practice good 6S.
- Communicate with coordinator if line stops while operator is on break and/or lunch.
- Adhere to all relevant IATF16949 and
ISO14001
procedures. Internal process auditing may be required.- All other duties as assigned.
