Job Description

Job purpose This position will work with the line operator in the daily operation of the CNC equipment. He/she will also inspect and pack brake rotors and maintain the end of line equipment. Duties and responsibilities
  • Inspect and pack brake rotors per control plan.
  • Complete end of line paint check and document per control plan. Maintain paint level.
  • Maintain wash and burnish water level and concentration. Empty oil catch pan at burnish.
  • Use gauges to perform checks on parts.
  • Communicate and assist line operator with line issues.

Example:
Depalletizer cycle time over or quality issues on the line.
  • Assist operator to hand load line if necessary.
  • Complete all necessary end of line checks and proper documentation of those checks.
  • Keep offload area clean and neat. Practice good 6S.
  • Communicate with coordinator if line stops while operator is on break and/or lunch.
  • Adhere to all relevant IATF16949 and
ISO14001
procedures. Internal process auditing may be required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications The minimum education requirement is high school diploma and/or GED equivalent. Although this position is considered entry level, prefer previous machining background. Must have the ability to read and interpret work instructions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable in a team based environment.
