CNC Machine Setup

Day Shift Position, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, 40-hour week. Starting pay $20/hr and progressively increases to $24/hr over 18 months. Must be able to pass a Mechanical Comprehension Test. Summary As a CNC Machine Setup technician, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in machining operations. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge will guide you in setting up and calibrating CNC machines. Your premium expertise in CNC programming and familiarity with precision measuring instruments will enhance production efficiency. Strong communication skills will be essential for collaborating with team members and maintaining quality control, ultimately contributing to the success of our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to those described herein: Inspect and adjust machinery to specification, according to process. Realign machine, change tooling, and adjust offsets. Recognize quality defects and collaborate with team to troubleshoot machine and part issues. Transfer manufacturing parts from one location to another via walking, ability to go up and down steps, and stand for 8 hours.
