Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CNC HAAS
Machine Operator to join our manufacturing and machining team . This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining
CNC HAAS
machines to produce high-quality precision parts that meet strict manufacturing specifications and tolerances. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machining, blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and HAAS controls , along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor
CNC HAAS
machines to perform precision machining on metal and other materials Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, setup sheets, and machining instructions Work from established setups and production prints to complete machining operations efficiently Maintain production schedules and meet daily output and efficiency goals Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely throughout the production process Use
HAAS CNC
controls to run, adjust, and optimize machine operations Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments as needed Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring tools Maintain accurate production records, setup documentation, and work orders Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment inspections Follow standardized manufacturing procedures and all safety protocols Produce consistent, high-quality precision parts with minimal supervision Support overall machining and production team goals as needed Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of experience operating
CNC HAAS
machines (preferred) Experience in CNC machining, manufacturing, or precision production preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and efficiently in a production environment
Physical Demands:
Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
