Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator or Brake Press Operator! We are seeking motivated individuals to operate and set up various machining equipment, including CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and brake presses. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with precision machinery in a fast-paced environment dedicated to high-quality metal fabrication and assembly. Duties Operate CNC machinery such as laser cutters, milling machines, lathes, and plasma cutters with precision and efficiency Set up and calibrate press brake machines and stamping presses for various production runs Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate fabrication Perform machine adjustments, tool setups, and routine maintenance to optimize performance Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify quality standards are met Follow safety protocols diligently during machine operation and material handling Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure specifications are maintained Utilize hand tools and forming machines for metal shaping and assembly tasks when required Maintain detailed records of machine operation logs, inspection reports, and production data Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as laser cutting systems, CNC milling or lathe machines, or press brakes in a manufacturing environment Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Familiarity with machining tools setup, calibration, and safety standards in production settings Ability to use measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments for quality control Basic math skills including shop math necessary for measurement conversions and calculations during machining processes Experience with welding, forming machines, sheet metal fabrication or electrical discharge machining is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation and metal fabrication processes Valid certification or training in forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating high-quality metal components through innovative machining techniques! Pay:
