Our commitment to excellence and innovation drives everything we do. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Milling Operator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. We specialize in higher complexity parts manufactured from exotic materials.
Job Summary:
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision parts. Work towards continuous improvement goals and standards as well as work closely with our team to ensure that all products meet strict quality standards and specifications. This role requires both technical expertise and hands-on experience to maintain and operate CNC machinery effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming and Setup:
Being able to modify and interact with NC programs is a plus. Set up CNC milling machines, including loading and aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces. Ability to design, create & select tooling as jobs demand is a plus. Conduct test runs and make adjustments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Operation and Production:
Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts and components to precise specifications. Monitor machine performance, including observing for any deviations or malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
Quality Control:
In-process inspection of parts using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with technical drawings and specifications. Implement and adhere to quality control procedures and standards (AS9100). Document and report any defects or issues and work to resolve them promptly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and resolve any technical challenges. Contribute to process improvements and share best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Experience:
REQUIRED
Proven experience as a CNC Milling Operator. Experience with
HURCO CNC
milling machines and controls are a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, including setup and programming. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control processes.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ Years of relevant direct work related experience.
Other:
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment safely. How to
