CNC Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and conventional machining equipment while producing parts to blueprint and quality requirements. Job Requirements 1-3 years of related machining experience. Ability to perform basic CNC machine operations. Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, work orders, and procedures. Ability to read and understand basic CNC programs. Experience performing quality checks using verniers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, and pin gages. Ability to perform machine adjustments, including offset wear and geometry changes. Ability to change collets, tool inserts, tool blocks, and tool holders. Ability to enter programs for pre-programmed parts. Ability to understand and follow written English instructions. Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Preferred Skills Experience operating drill presses. Experience operating engine lathes or turret lathes. Experience setting up and operating multiple CNC machines. Experience with bar stock handling and cutting. Experience performing basic machine maintenance. Knowledge of machining process improvement and setup reduction practices. Experience with material identification, component identification, and inventory processes. Job Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain one or more CNC machines. Operate drill presses, lathes, and related machining equipment as assigned. Perform machining operations according to production orders. Follow blueprints, work orders, and standard setup instructions. Perform machine adjustments, including offset wear and geometry changes. Change collets, cutting inserts, tool blocks, and tool holders. Enter programs for pre-programmed parts. Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring equipment. Maintain required production quality and quantity levels. Maintain coolant and oil levels on machining equipment. Perform basic machine maintenance as directed. Handle, cut, and put away bar stock materials. Clean machined parts and work areas. Separate and maintain waste chips and daily scrap materials. Support setup and process improvements intended to reduce lead times and non-value-added activities. Follow applicable machine and workplace safety procedures.

Pay:
