Vertical Mill Machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machines to produce parts according to drawings and production requirements. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating vertical milling machines. Experience performing CNC mill setups. Experience selecting and installing tooling and workholding. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining requirements. Experience adjusting machine offsets and machining parameters. Experience inspecting machined parts for dimensional compliance. Experience using standard precision measuring equipment. Preferred Skills Experience operating Haas vertical mills. CNC programming experience. Experience editing CNC programs at the machine control. Experience with Haas controls. Experience machining precision or close-tolerance components. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines. Set up and operate Haas vertical mills when applicable. Load and secure workpieces, fixtures, and tooling. Select tooling and establish machine offsets. Run CNC programs according to production requirements. Make machine and offset adjustments as needed. Monitor machining operations and identify process issues. Inspect completed parts against drawings and specifications. Perform dimensional checks using precision measuring equipment. Make basic CNC program edits when qualified. Maintain equipment and work areas according to manufacturing procedures.
Pay:
