In this role, you will operate and program large-scale CNC boring mill to produce precise, high-quality components for various industrial applications. Your expertise in machining, CAD/CAM Software, and precision measurement will ensure that parts meet strict specifications and quality standards. Along with the Boring Mill, will train to run a CNC Gun Drill. Duties Set up, operate, and program CNC boring mill. And CNC Gun Drill after training if required. Perform precision measurements using bore gauges, calipers, micrometers to verify part dimensions. Maintain machine tools by conducting routine inspections, adjustments, and troubleshooting. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, ensuring optimal machining conditions and safety compliance. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to review designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve manufacturing processes through lean manufacturing principles. Skills Extensive experience operating Boring mills. G-code editing and CAM programming software Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting machine issues. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like bore gauges, calipers, micrometers. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic shop machinery safely and effectively. Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
