In this role, you will learn how to program and operate the machines using conversational CNC punch grinder controls.

Primary Duties:

• Receive and interpret drawings and job specs
• Select proper coordinating tool blanks
• Input part specifications using conversational programming
• Machine parts holding .0002
• .0005" tolerance
• Inspect parts for quality and functionality of intended use
• Additional duties include utilizing surface grinder and drill EDM to fabricate/modify tools to customer specs

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in basic shop math
• Willingness and ability to learn conversational programing of CNC punch grinder controls
• Must be experienced in reading micrometers and dial indicators
• Able to perform routine machine maintenance (change filters and coolant)
• Minimum 2 years previous grinding experience

Hours:

Monday

• Friday 8am-5pm

Salary:

$25-30 /hour plus overtime depending on experience level
