Omni is a leading manufacturing company primarily serving the office furniture, medical, defense, aerospace, and automotive market. Our privately held company, built upon Christian principles, currently employs approximately 35 team members in 54,000 sq feet fully air-conditioned facility. This position is responsible for the setup/operation of machines to produce parts which includes one piece components, one time run parts, low volume production, as well as higher volume production.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Maching Centers according to blueprints, specifications ,manufacturing orders, and work instructions. Work with safe production practices Ability to use hand tools Operate machines according to blueprints, specifications, manufacturing orders, and work instructions. Maintains correct dimensions of parts while running the job using their own measurement instruments micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Verifies the conformity of the parts to blueprints/specifications during and/or after the run. Recognizes improper machine functions and reports to supervisor. Clean and maintain the equipment. Work effectively as part of a team and work with minimum supervision Establish good rapport with others in all levels of the organization.
