Company:
Exco Extrusion Dies Inc. was established in 1997 following the foundation of Exco Technologies Limited in 1952. Over the years Exco Extrusion Group has grown to include 11 facilities in Canada (headquarters), United States, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Germany and Italy. The Exco Extrusion Group of manufacturing facilities are part of the largest producers of extrusion tooling globally. Our mission is to provide aluminum extrusion dies which will produce and ensure long operating life. Our production capabilities exceed 5000 dies a month, supporting extruders serving construction, automotive, and consumer goods markets.
Job Responsibilities:
Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine. While maintaining quality and safety standards and maintaining equipment and supplies. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Programs mills by entering instructions setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains specifications by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting, and reprogramming controls, sharpening, and replacing worn tools. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. All employees must be adaptable. Employees may be required to cross-train into other departments to provide flexibility to the organization.
Required Skills Qualifications:
1 to 3 years of CNC machining experience - Preferred Tool and die machining experience - Preferred Ability to read a print Basic computer Knowledge Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Ability to run more than one machine Organizational skills Basic math skills High School diploma or equivalent required Must be able to pass a drug test and physical
