CNC Set-Up Operator Location:
Trenton, Michigan Full-Time | 6:00am
  • 4:30pm, Monday
  • Friday, Saturday as needed
Pay:
Starting at $22 per hour, dependent on skill level and experience About the
Role:
We're looking for a skilled CNC Set-Up Operator to join our growing team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce precision tooling parts. If you have hands-on CNC experience, a strong attention to detail, and take pride in quality workmanship, this could be a great fit for you.
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate CNC mills (OKK, Fadal, HAAS) Perform milling, sawing, sanding, and deburring Edit programs and adjust machine settings as needed Load/unload cutting tools and prepare dies Document inspection results and complete job paperwork Perform basic machine maintenance and report defects Follow 5S standards and maintain a clean work area Transport dies using hi-lo equipment (forklift)
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of CNC machine set-up experience Experience with tooling set-up and program editing Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Basic math skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Associate degree or technical certification preferred but not required

HSA Note:
If an employee opts out of their medical coverage with Trenton Forging Company, the Company will pay the employee $70 weekly
  • totaling $3640 annually.
Dental, Vision and Accident Insurance plans through Guardian are also available at negligible costs to the employee. If the employee selects one of the HSA medical plans above, they are automatically enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA). The Company makes $500 annual contributions for employees who choose single-person medical coverage and $1000 annual contributions for coverage of 2 or more persons. Life Insurance Our forging company automatically pays for a $15,000 life insurance policy for each employee. Additional life insurance may be purchased by the employee, up to $150,000 in employee coverage, $50,000 in spousal coverage, and $10,000 coverage per child. 401(k) On the first month after 60 days of employment, all employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan with Merrill Lynch. In profitable years, the Company may match employee contributions with discretionary bonuses to all employees currently participating in our 401(k) plan. Tuition Reimbursement
