Job Description Skilled CNC machine operators needed to operate CNC lathe and CNC Swiss style machines for light production runs. On the job, setup and programing training opportunities are available for the right candidates.
Shift Hours:
•6:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday, Friday hours will vary based on workload but are normally 6am-11am. Wage based upon experience.
Responsibilities and Duties Job Description:
Run and monitor machined parts to customer specifications. Load materials, identifying abnormal product/material. Adjust and change tooling as needed. Inspect parts in process to ensure quality and customer requirements are met. Work overtime as needed Follow quality control requirements Qualifications and Skills CNC machining background Familiar with lathe operation and/or CNC Swiss machine operation and use of offsets Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges Basic math skills and blueprint reading skills Good communication skills and a positive attitude Physical Requirements Standing for long periods at a time, up to 2-3 hours. Lifting to 20 lbs. to 30 lbs. Repetitive motion, loading and unloading parts into a machine. Working with oil and with water-based coolant.
