CNC Swiss or Lathe Machine Operator (Citizen / CNC Turning) Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Swiss or Lathe Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor Swiss (Citizen) machines, CNC lathes, and related equipment to produce high-quality components for industries such as medical, aerospace, and automotive . This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC machining or turning experience who enjoys hands-on production work and working with precision parts. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor Swiss (Citizen) machines, CNC lathes, and other CNC equipment Load raw materials and run production cycles efficiently Make basic offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain quality Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges Inspect finished parts and identify defects or nonconformances Complete basic quality documentation and production records Follow production schedules and meet output and efficiency goals Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate equipment issues or quality concerns promptly Follow all safety and quality standards What We're Looking For (Core Skills) 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (Swiss, lathe, or turning centers) Hands-on experience in a production machining environment Ability to perform basic offsets, tool changes, and adjustments Ability to read blueprints and machining specifications Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Reliable and capable of working independently Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40-50 lbs Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience running Swiss/Citizen machines or CNC lathes Experience in CNC turning, Swiss machining, or machining centers Basic knowledge of CNC setup and troubleshooting Experience in precision manufacturing industries (medical, aerospace, automotive) Familiarity with inspection processes and documentation Why Join Our Team? ✅ Work on precision components for high-performance industries ✅ Clean, climate-controlled, modern facility ✅ New equipment including Swiss and CNC turning machines ✅ Performance-based incentive program ✅ Opportunities to grow into setup or advanced machining roles Work Environment & Schedule Clean, organized facility with modern CNC and Swiss/lathe equipment Multiple shifts available: 1st

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Prague, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00
