Job Description

Swan Machine is a precision machine shop that operates the latest equipment, making parts that serve multiple markets to household goods, to truck parts, airplane parts, pistons, and firearm components. Position:
Machine Operator ( All Shifts available at this time - differentials for 2nd & weekend shifts ) $ 1000.00 Hiring Bonus for 2nd shift $2000.00 Hiring Bonus for Weekend Shift. Paid at 90 & 180 days Your responsibilities: Learn and operate 1-3 CNC machines Learn and ability to recognize, deploy and properly use inserts, fixtures and tolling Measure and inspect all parts Fill out proper paperwork including quality inspection reports and maintenance reports Maintain a clean and safe workplace by adhering to safety procedures & regulations Perform daily cleaning & light maintenance on the CNC machines Ability to be a team player but also work independently Strong attention to detail Ability to do basic math including decimals Ability to stand for 10 - 12 hours per day while frequently reaching, bending, and using hands Lift up to 50 lbs.
