Opportunity:
In this role, you will operate Haas CNC milling machines to produce quality metal or plastic components according to blueprints, work orders, and production requirements. You'll monitor machines during production, make basic adjustments when needed, and use precision measuring tools to ensure finished parts meet specifications. This is an operator-focused position where reliability, attention to detail, and a mindset toward maintaining and improving daily production are highly valued.
What You'll Be Doing:
Run the machine safely while following production schedules and work orders. Watch the machining process to check for tool wear, unusual vibrations, or errors. Make minor offset or program adjustments as needed. Measure finished components using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges to verify they match blueprint specifications.
Perform maintenance:
Keep the workspace clean, clear out metal chips, monitor coolant levels, and complete basic preventive maintenance What makes you a great fit: Preferred 2 to 3+ years of CNC machining experience, with specific hands-on familiarity operating Haas controls and milling centers.
Technical skills:
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and basic G-code. Proficiency with precision measuring devices like calipers and micrometers.
