Job Description CNC Mill Operator - 2nd
Shift Pay:
$27.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 2:15 PM-12:45
AM Training:
1st Shift, Monday-Friday We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling equipment, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and producing precision parts according to specifications.

Monday-Thursday, 2:15 PM-12:45
AM Training:
Monday-Friday on 1st shift Job Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions. Select, position, and secure tooling and workpieces. Set machine feeds, speeds, depth of cut, and fixtures. Monitor machine operation and verify finished parts meet specifications. Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers. Perform quality checks and report defective materials or production issues. Perform assembly, trimming, fitting, and other production-related tasks. Follow standard work instructions and visual aids. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S practices. Follow all company safety policies and required PPE guidelines. Rotate between various work cells and job assignments as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of CNC experience preferred. 3-axis and 5-axis milling experience preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions. Basic math skills. Experience using precision measuring tools. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to quality and safety. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the shift. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
