Job Description CNC Lathe Operator - 2nd
Shift Pay:
$27.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 2:15 PM-12:45
AM Training:
Monday-Friday on 1st Shift We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with CNC setup experience who is comfortable operating Haas machines and making offset adjustments. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. Adjust machine offsets to maintain quality and accuracy. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices. Set feeds, speeds, and depth of cut. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines. Meet production and efficiency standards. Rotate between different work areas as needed. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of CNC experience preferred. CNC setup experience preferred. Haas machine experience preferred. Experience adjusting CNC offsets. Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. 5-axis machining experience is a plus! Physical Requirements Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the shift. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks. Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
