Job Overview We are hosting a hiring event for the position of Die Cast Operator, scheduled for September 15th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This role is vital in our manufacturing process, involving the operation of die casting machinery to produce precision metal components for the automotive industry. Duties Operate die casting machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications Set up and adjust equipment, tooling, and molds for optimal production efficiency Monitor machine operation during production runs to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained Perform routine inspections of cast parts using precision measurement instruments to verify conformance Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow Follow safety protocols rigorously and maintain a clean work environment Assist with machine maintenance and tooling changes as needed Requirements Previous experience with machine operation in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred Mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints (GD&T) Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, welding, forming machines, or other machining tools is a plus Ability to use measuring instruments accurately for quality control purposes Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols Basic math skills and shop math proficiency for measurements and calculations Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up machining tools and interpret technical instructions Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing precise, high-quality parts Join us at our hiring event on September 15th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM!
