$20-$23/hour + $1.50 shift premium Contract to Hire Job Overview The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Operators will prepare machines, monitor production, and inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality requirements. A Day In The Life Preparing and operating CNC machines for tasks such as drilling and milling Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings Loading raw materials and parts onto machines Performing test runs and adjusting settings to meet specifications Monitoring machine operations and adjusting for optimal results Inspecting and measuring finished products for accuracy and quality Performing routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment Maintaining accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation Keeping work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards Supporting team scheduling, training, and workflow coordination as needed What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) Certificate or diploma from a trade school (preferred) Proven experience operating CNC machinery required Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills Attention to detail and a results-driven approach

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.50 per hour
