We are actively hiring Extrusion Operators to join our Concord, NC manufacturing team. Position Summary The Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment used in the production of color compounds. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Maintain the highest standards of safety by following all safety procedures and actively participating in safety programs Operate extrusion and related production equipment, including extruders, feeders, pelletizers, scales, dies, and classifiers Produce compound samples according to customer and production specifications Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance Add color mix to feeders using a tow motor/forklift to position color pots correctly Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience strongly preferred Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capability Forklift/tow motor experience preferred Solid math and analytical skills Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated work ethic Compensation & Benefits Competitive starting pay: $18.00/hour and up 120 hours (3 weeks) of Paid Time Off 10 paid holidays Free uniforms Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage starting 30 days to the first of the month Company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&D after 90 days 401(k) with generous company match: Dollar-for-dollar match on the first 3% 50% match on the next 2% No vesting period Safety Commitment The safety of our employees takes precedence over all other initiatives.
