Job Description

Nesco Resource is hiring an exp CNC Operator II for the Machine Room / 1st shift for our Client in
Conover, NC Pay:
$16.00 hour / if solid work experience, will discuss a higher rate
Hours:
M-F 7a-3:30p
Position Summary:
The CNC Operator 2 performs intermediate CNC operations and supports production through machine setup tasks, offset adjustments, and limited program edits. This role requires greater technical knowledge, increased quality responsibility, and the ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues.
Position Responsibilities:
Load materials and set up CNC machines for production runs Set offsets and make simple CNC program edits as required Identify tooling, router bit types, and sizes Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions Use calipers and measuring tools to verify part accuracy Monitor work in process and track live production orders Identify and correct out of tolerance conditions within scope Communicate production or quality issues to supervision Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness Follow all safety and LOTO procedures
Essential Skills and Experience:
CNC operator training or equivalent hands on experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Working knowledge of CNC controls and offsets Basic understanding of G code and machining processes Strong organizational and quality focused mindset
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
