Load, verify, and adjust CNC programs and machine offsets to achieve required dimensional specifications. Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic loading and unloading systems to support unattended and automated production. Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments. Monitor machining operations and make process adjustments to maintain quality, cycle time, and productivity targets. Support new product introductions, prove-outs, and process validation activities in collaboration with programmers and engineering personnel. Diagnose and resolve machining, tooling, automation, and process-related issues to minimize downtime. Maintain organized tooling, gauges, fixtures, and work areas to support efficient production. Complete production, quality, and maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, productivity, and cost reduction. Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years of CNC machining experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to independently set up and operate CNC milling and turning equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, setup sheets, and work instructions. Experience selecting and installing tooling, fixtures, and workholding systems. Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators. Understanding of machining fundamentals, feeds and speeds, tooling applications, and machining math. Ability to troubleshoot machining and production issues independently. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Technical certification, apprenticeship, or associate degree in Machining Technology or a related field. Experience operating advanced multi-axis CNC machining centers, mill-turn machines, or multitasking lathes. Experience with robotic machine-tending systems and automated manufacturing cells. Experience working with modern CNC controls and advanced machining platforms from leading machine tool manufacturers. Experience supporting precision manufacturing environments. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
