CNC Lathe Full Job Description Location:
Winston Salem, NC Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our production team in Winston-Salem. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality air movement products. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes, strong attention to detail, and a focus on precision and safety. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and parts washing equipment. Load and unload raw materials and secure equipment for production runs. Inspect finished parts to ensure complete accuracy against specifications. Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and detailed recordkeeping. Read instructions carefully to ensure precise production standards. Follow all workplace safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Prior experience operating CNC mills and lathes (required).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with hand tools, machine tools, basic CAD/CAM software, and computer programming fundamentals.

Math Skills:

Ability to perform basic shop mathematical calculations.

Preferred:

HAAS machine experience and sheet metal fabrication background are a strong plus. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to lift, push, or move heavy materials weighing up to 50-70 lbs. Capability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop on concrete floors for the full shift. Strong focus, work ethic, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Authorized to work in the United States.
