Job Description
Carbon Felt, Inc., a growing company in the world of high temperature graphite furnace insulation and carbon/carbon composites, is looking for a CNC Operator (Wire Saw) at our company in Claremont, NH. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, have a passion to learn, and have great work ethics. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our products, as well as maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive training to operate Wire Saws to produce high-quality components from our carbon composites insulation materials. Learn to perform setup Wire Saws, ensuring proper alignment and functionality before machine runs. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for cutting processes. Deliver the materials safely from warehouse to wire saw station by using forklift, powerlift, pallet jack etc. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers and squares to ensure adherence to specifications. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and maintain efficient workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Learn to perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.Qualification and Skills/Minimum Job Requirements:
Graduated from high school / or equivalent, but technical school is preferred Math needed as a minimum requirement. Education background in machines, including milling machines, lathes etc. is a plus. Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions for production processes.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions, bending, stooping Physical ability to lift 30 poundsBenefits:
