In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to strict quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up CNC machine including CNC milling machine, and other industrial equipment based on technical drawings and production specifications. Operate and load CNC machine using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently. Maintain detailed records of production activities, quality control checks, and machine performance logs. Support quality assurance by inspecting finished parts for adherence to specifications and conducting precision measurements in line with manufacturing standards. Assist with packaging, shop floor tasks, and basic shop math calculations as needed to support overall production flow. Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. Must be a team worker by cooperating and communicating well with others to reach a shared goal. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines or similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC programming languages, CAM programming software, and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, shop math, GD&T standards, and the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments along with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Hands-on experience with fabrication processes, tooling setup, and shop floor operations is preferred. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools and basic math skills required for precise machining tasks. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable; familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. Prior knowledge of Homage IX is helpful but not necessary.
