Learn more about us at https://bdandt.com/. Position Summary Bennett Die and Tool is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will set up and operate CNC machines, load materials and programs, make tooling and offset adjustments, and inspect finished components to ensure they meet customer specifications and our high standards for quality. Compensation and Benefits Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skill level. Full-time, permanent position with a comprehensive benefits package. Twice-annual bonus opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, job routings, work orders, and other manufacturing instructions. Set up and operate CNC milling machines and related equipment. Load CNC programs, tooling, and raw materials; adjust tool offsets and cutting parameters as necessary. Perform basic calculations required for machine setup, tooling, and part production. Run multiple jobs efficiently while maintaining quality and production requirements. Load and unload parts and materials safely and accurately. Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts during production and upon completion. Verify finished components meet dimensional, quality, and functional requirements. Identify machining issues and make appropriate adjustments to maintain part quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning equipment, inspecting tooling, and identifying worn or damaged components. Report equipment issues, material shortages, and quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and detailed manufacturing specifications. Previous experience operating CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment. Experience using precision measuring instruments, including digital and dial calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and tape measures. Understanding of basic machining principles, cutting tools, workholding, and industrial materials. CNC milling experience preferred, particularly with 4- or 5-axis machines. Ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and tool offset adjustments. Experience designing, building, or modifying machining fixtures is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to troubleshoot machining and equipment issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required. Willingness to learn new machining techniques, equipment, and processes. Position Type and Work Schedule This is a full-time, permanent, non-exempt position with benefits.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday.
Typical hours:
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime is frequently available.
