Challenging and exciting opportunity with Major Semiconductor Equipment and Contract Manufacturer based in NJ as a CNC Setup / Operator. We're seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual. Prime responsibilities include setup and operation of Haas and Mazak Vertical machining centers. Prior experience with these machines is mandatory. Ability to read blueprints and capable of doing first article inspection. You will be required to do multiple setups each day, including adjusting tool lengths and offsets as necessary. When operating you will be required to assemble and preset tooling for subsequent operations during automated cycles to reduce machine downtime. Experience machining stainless steel and aluminum is required. Practical knowledge of math, geometry and trigonometry required. Requirements High School Diploma. Equivalent to complete, accredited, indentured apprenticeship or equivalent to high school plus a 2-year technical school. Required to have necessary set of personal tools to perform all tasks of job function. Use of adjustable measuring instruments and advanced quality control equipment. Blueprint reading of complicated drawings, specifications and charts/tables. More than three years' experience as a setup operator in a manufacturing environment. Dependable and a great attitude.
