• 1st Shift About the Role Express Pros-Akron is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to produce precision-machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery.

This role supports consistent quality, safety standards, and efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Operate programmed CNC machinery to load/unload materials and produce parts to design specifications Monitor machine feed and speed throughout the machining process Inspect items and report any quality concerns to management Inspect parts according to blueprints and quality guidelines Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts when required Monitor and maintain lubrication and coolant levels Maintain a clean and organized work area Provide your own basic hand tools and measuring tools Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Competencies To be successful in this role, you should have: Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong job responsibility and consistency Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Eagerness to learn various part setups and machine operations Reliable and regular attendance Physical Requirements This position regularly requires: Standing, walking, reaching, and using hands to handle or feel parts Occasional sitting Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally Clear close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Work Environment While performing this role, the employee will be: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration Working in a loud production environment If you're a detail‑oriented machinist looking to grow with a company that values precision, safety, and continuous improvement, Express Pros-Akron invites you to apply!
