$18/hr, starting pay Job Description A manufacturing company located in Berea, OH is now hiring a second shift Drill Press Trainee! You will have on the job training to build a career for advancement within the company and you will be trained to be responsible for all inspection, preventative maintenance, upkeep, and proper usage of the Drill Press machine. Work hours are second shift from 6 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate Drill Press machine Change and maintain cutting tools within the Drill Press machines Monitor and maintain fluid levels within Drill Press machine Clean Drill Press machine before and after use as needed Maintain a clean and safe workstation Operate crane for Drill Press setup Follow all necessary work instructions and procedures as laid out by company's policy Report quality updates to supervisor as needed Follow all established work instructions and standard operating procedures Follow all internal, OSHA, and outside agency safety regulations Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must have a mechanical aptitude Must be able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem, and if outside help is needed Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks Only those candidates that can pass a background check drug screen will be considered.
