We support the production of space-launch booster engines, helicopter rotor blades, and fighter-jet vertical-takeoff inlet systems— high-consequence applications where failure is not an option . Momentous has ~65 employees and ~35 major CNC machining centers in a 60k sq-ft facility located in Cuyahoga Falls, Oh. Job Summary CNC Machinists at Momentous must be comfortable reading prints , performing their own set-ups , have strong GD&T understanding , and collaborating with a high-performing team. Our 5-axis cell consists of 4 advanced machinists; we are hiring another machinist that can operate Heidenhain controls . Compensation Top pay for 5+ years-of-experience Up-to 20hrs/week of avaliable OT Generous Health Care (+Dental, etc.) 401(k) match Duties & Qualifications Read and interpret prints to understand project specifications Proficiency in set up and operation of CNC machines according to prints and work instructions Edit CNC code and make offsets as required Monitor machine operations to ensure high quality and accuracy of parts Inspect finished products with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers for quality and adherence to specifications Shop math skills for measurements and calculations Troubleshoot machine errors and perform maintenance as needed Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
