As a CNC Operator Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision metal or plastic parts based on engineering drawings and specifications. You will ensure that parts are manufactured to exact tolerances, meet quality standards, and are produced in a timely and efficient manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations and part requirements.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and parts into the CNC machine.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust controls as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards using precision measurement tools (e.g., , micrometers, and gauges).
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating parts and ensuring the machine is in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Document production activities, including setup, tool changes, and inspection results.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve production processes and reduce waste.

Pay:

$24.23 - $29.18 per hour
