Position Summary CNC Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce precision components according to engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a desire to learn, and a background working with hand tools. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machines Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Perform machine setups, tool changes, and basic program adjustments as required. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. Verify product dimensions and quality against specifications. Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions, tool wear, or quality issues. Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain equipment cleanliness. Accurately complete production records, inspection reports, and work orders. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Collaborate with programmers, setup technicians, and supervisors to improve production efficiency. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
