Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Setup/Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and quality measurement will ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up CNC lathe machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibrating equipment according to specifications Program CNC lathes using G-code, M-code, and CAM programming software to produce complex parts with precision Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements Operate CNC lathes and manual machining tools safely and efficiently to produce high-quality components Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measurement instruments for quality control Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines with a strong understanding of CNC programming including G-code and M-code Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement techniques Familiarity with machining tools such as grinders, hand tools, power tools, bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and measurement instruments for quality control Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately and apply GD&T standards effectively Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances Strong understanding of CNC G-code programming and CNC quality inspection procedures Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and efficiently Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials safely, and perform detailed work in a manufacturing environment Join our team as a CNC Lathe Setup/Operator if you're passionate about precision manufacturing and eager to contribute your technical expertise. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
