Position Overview:

Set-up and run brakes for low/mid-volume production items, and assist in programming/processes for new parts. (Emphasis will be placed on efficient/repeatable setups, and high production rate through machines)

Job Responsibilities:

Set-up and operation of brakes with varying complexity and precision First article & intermittent inspection of parts to prints Tooling development and implementation Training and technical lead for less experienced machine operators

Job Qualifications/Experience & Technical Skills:

Excellent blue print reading skills / knowledgeable about GD&T Experience with standard inspection equipment (calipers, height gage, etc.) Experience forming metals such as (stainless, mild/spring steels, aluminum) Machine knowledge: Amada

Working Conditions:

Works primarily in a press brake environment May on a continuous basis stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Noise level in the work environment is moderate
