Position:

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a skilled CNC Machinist for a machine shop in the Hillsboro area. This position is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce precision metal parts while maintaining quality standards, meeting production requirements, and following established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines and other machining equipment as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications. Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify machining issues, troubleshoot defects, and make necessary adjustments. Monitor machine performance and maintain consistent production quality. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of recent machining experience. Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and equipment. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
