Forklift Shop math Numeracy Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Full Job Description Job Description - CNC Operator PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a qualified CNC Machine Operator to join a well established machine shop in Bend. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years prior CNC Operating experience, specifically with Okuma, Makino, or Fanuc machines. This is a full time, M-F position, working hours 12pm-10pm.
Responsibilities :
Machine Operation:
Operate, load, and unload CNC machines. Verify programs, set offsets, and make necessary adjustments to ensure part conformance.
Quality Control:
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to inspect parts for dimensions and tolerances. Deburr and finish parts as needed.
Production & Safety:
Meet production rates while adhering to all safety protocols. Report any equipment malfunctions to management and communicate with team members to resolve production and quality issues.
Maintenance:
Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep your work area clean and organized.
Requirements :
Minimum 2-3 years prior Machine Operating Experience, manual machining experience is a plus. Strong math skills, knowledge of and experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Forklift experience is a plus. Familiarity with
