We have have an immediate need for CNC Screw Machine Operator.
Shift:
Monday-Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 PM.Pay:
$20-$26 base pay depending on experience. Swing shift receives an additional $2.50 differential on top of their base pay.Essential Responsibilities & Duties Summary:
In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the CNC Screw Machine Operator will be responsible for: Operate computer numerical controlled multi axis screw machines. Make set-ups and compute machine speed and feeds. Load and unload parts for machining. Communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs. Inspect machined parts, and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management. Perform basic equipment maintenance such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of related experience operating a CNC multi axis screw machines or combination of other similar machining disciplines. Proficient in the use of handheld measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing prints and computer generated work orders preferred. Ability to make necessary mathematical computations as required per assignment. Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plus.Job Type:
