Day and Swing Shift
CNC MILL OPERATORS
Rockmore International, Inc. - a well-established and growing manufacturing facility in Wilsonville, OR is seeking CNC mill operators for day and swing shifts who are willing to produce new Rock Drilling Tools for the global mining and drilling markets. We seek hard working individuals willing to work within a team to produce multiple different products in an organized and timely fashion. Under general supervision, the CNC machinist will perform assignments involving the setup and operation of a wide variety of machine tools. We have vertical and horizontal mills, and lathes with live tooling and multi spindle; most fitted with Fanuc controls. Duties for the CNC operator will include, but are not limited to:- Setup and operation of various machines, first piece inspection and the ability to run multiple machines within a cell.
- Follow operation methods and sequences.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in methods or processes relative to productivity and quality.
- Provide setup support for CNC equipment. Determine optimum feeds and speeds. Optimize tool paths, minimize scrap and insure proper tool usage.
- Knowledge and experience of operating an ID/OD Grinder a plus.
- This position may include supervision of other machine operators within a team.
- Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Four or more years machining experience.
