Manufacturing company in Columbia, PA is looking for a CNC Operator on 2nd shift. Laid back environment with a great team. Open to candidates with limited experience that wants to grow in their machining career! Virtual interviews available within 24-48 hours of application!
Pay Range:
$20-25/hr DOE 2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm Mon - Fri Job Description Join our team as a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift and play a crucial role in manufacturing components for handrail systems. You will utilize machining centers to produce finished parts like nuts, bolts, screws, and clamps, ensuring they meet precise tolerances using blueprints and quality gauges. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and non-CNC machines. Load and adjust programs as needed, using primarily G-code and some M-code. Change tools and verify the accuracy of manufactured products against drawings using measuring tools and gauges. Inspect finished parts to confirm they meet established quality standards using micrometers and calipers. Troubleshoot and solve problems quickly. Essential Skills Experience with CNC mills and lathes. Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications No certifications required. Experience with HAAS machines is a plus. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
