Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator and become a vital part of our precision-driven production process! In this energetic role, you will operate and maintain various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming systems. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality fabrication, machining, and assembly of components, contributing to the success of our manufacturing facility. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop their skills in advanced machining technologies. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as CNC lathes, to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate manufacturing. Program CNC equipment Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain proper tooling setup and perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to maximize efficiency. Handle materials safely within the factory environment, including materials handling with forklifts when necessary. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, and packaging operations to meet production goals. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or similar equipment in a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CNC programming techniques. Ability to read blueprints accurately and utilize GD&T standards for precise measurements. Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar is preferred. Knowledge of tooling setup, welding basics, and fabrication processes is a plus. Competence in using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is desirable. Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
