Job Description

Our client is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their growing team. We have opportunities available for both full-time and part-time employees with flexible schedules on 1st and 2nd shifts. The pay rate is $18 - $26/hr. (depending on experience, position and shift) + a full menu of benefits like PTO, paid holidays, healthcare, 401K and more! The ideal candidates will have experience operating CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines, with the ability to machine customer parts to print specifications, make program edits as needed, maintain quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Experience with 5-Axis CNC Milling is a plus. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines as assigned. Upload and download programs from machine controls. Machine parts to required specifications and tolerances per engineering drawings. Edit machine programs as needed to achieve optimal production results. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap. Maintain tooling inventory at assigned machines. Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment, ensuring all parts meet specifications. Remove burrs and sharp edges as required. Mark materials for disposition when necessary. Complete inspection logs, travelers, and time records accurately. Assist with machine maintenance as directed by supervisors. Participate in
ISO 9001
continuous improvement initiatives and training programs. Assist in training new operators as needed. Perform material handling duties when required. Assist with shipping, receiving, and movement of materials as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Participate in team meetings, business updates, and communication of quality concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience operating CNC lathes, CNC mills, or both. Experience with 5-Axis CNC Milling is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments, including: Micrometers Calipers Other inspection and measuring equipment Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) is preferred. Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday. Occasionally reach above shoulder level. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
