division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist (Operator A) - 2nd Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA! Our business is growing and we are looking to begin a 2nd shift to help support our CNC machining team. We are actively working to upgrade our equipment which will give you the opportunity to work with brand new machines while being part of a team that is experiencing rapid growth! This is a 2nd shift role that has core hours of 2 pm - 11:15 pm, M-F. The hourly rate for this position is $26.50 per hour + 15% shift premium. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: The CNC Machinist (Operator A) is responsible for setting up and operating various CNC Mills and Lathes to produce parts to engineering drawings. They identify and use proper tools, gages, and equipment for the process. In this role, you will:- Interpret blueprints generated per
ANSI/ASME Y14.5
guidelines (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing). Manufacture parts which conform to same specification.- Set up and run CNC lathes (3 & 4.5 axis) in a production environment and/or CNC mills (4 & 5 axis) in a production environment.
- Interpret and edit "G-code" NC programs
- Set-up and operate simple machine tools such as drill presses, manual presses, saws, shears, etc.
- Set-up and operate manual lathes and/or mills
- Sharpen various cutting tools
- Inspect GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) features using basic and advanced inspection techniques such as vernier, micrometers, indicators, comparators, bore mics., surface plate, Coordinate Measuring Machines, etc.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering with most intermediate and some advanced troubleshooting on machining product.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering with process development and tool identification.
- Train others on machines and processes within Value Stream.
- Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, efficiency (cost).

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution- Minimum of 3 years of Machinist or Tool Maker experience working in the trade.

- Experience or formal education in design/drafting with emphasis on CAD
- CNC programming experience, specifically MasterCAM
- 5+ years of experience in trade as a machinist or tool maker ##
Skills/Position Criteria:
- Proficiency in trigonometry
- Tool sharping including boring bars, drills on darex, tree pan tools
- Ability to run most equipment in turning or milling
- Ability to use a personal computer
- Proficient in print reading and inspection that includes CMM (milling).
